To commemorate Johann Strauss’ 200th birthday the Vienna Boys Choir revisit their popular program and Deutsche Grammophon recording, Strauss For Ever. Waltzes and polkas by the Strauss family are a specialty of the illustrious Vienna Boys Choir. The Boys enjoy singing Strauss because the music is upbeat, rhythmic, and fast. The lyrics tell stories of sailors, ghosts, bandits, and even hamsters—not to be taken too seriously, but to be heard and cherished For Ever.
