At 6 p.m. on Friday, April 28, doctoral student Abraham Ross will play a program of Max Reger and other organ masters, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Healdsburg. The concert is co-sponsored by the Redwood Empire Chapter, American Guild of Organists. Ross’ appearance is the second in a series of concerts celebrating the 150th anniversary of Reger’s birth. Ross enjoys an active career as a concert organist, harpsichordist, and director. His accolades include appearances in international competitions, research grants from Quebec’s Fonds de Recherche en Societé et Culture and McGill University, and performances with Resonance Collective (Los Angeles), the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, and Apollo’s Fire Baroque Orchestra. He has appeared with various groups across North America, in Argentina, and in Europe. Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend. The church is located at 209 Matheson St., one block east of Healdsburg's downtown Plaza.
