Chapel College Scholars are boys 14-17 who have an established foundation of music theory and vocal. Students receive intensive, personalized vocal instruction with an emphasis on individual responsibility
Choristers are a small group of boys age 8 to 13 selected by audition. Choristers receive intensive, personalized vocal instruction with an emphasis on individual responsibility, leadership, camaraderie, and the joy of making music.
For boys interested in singing with our group who may not be ready for the Choristers program, we offer a preparatory class focused on ensemble singing and fundamentals of musicianship, vocal technique, and theory.

Rehearsal Wed. eves 7:30 to 10 PM in Orinda. Rehearsals begin Wed. Aug. 21.
Winter concert dates: Sat. Nov. 16, Sun. Nov.17. Theme: "Homecoming/Autumnal Return"
Audition consists of prepared solo piece and ear-training and sight-singing exercises.

Informal audition with our director during a Monday rehearsal. Come sing with us once, and see if you'd like to join us. Open to all voice parts, especially tenors and basses.
Auditions are by appointment with Symphony Parnassus's music director, Stephen Paulson. Please prepare two short pieces or excerpts from the classical repertoire that highlight your musicianship. We are particularly interested in string players, but all musicians are welcome to audition.
