Join the New Esterházy Quartet for a 4-hour intensive workshop that will draw on their deep affinity for the classical era. You’ll go on a deep dive into the first movement and the finale of Mozart's "Hunt" Quartet K458 to discover how period-instrument performance has brought illuminating new sensibilities to music you thought you already knew and now can get to know even better.
This is an intensive workshop designed for intermediate and advanced players. No period-instrument experience is required, and all playing will be at modern pitch (A=440). We anticipate a really fun afternoon of music-making, with full run-throughs as well as sectionals for each part.
