Music@Menlo's 2025 festival explores the different instrumental 'constellations' of chamber music. Moving from intimate duos to orchestral octets, seven concert programs feature over forty world-renowned artists.
The dynamic young Viano Quartet, winners of the Banff International String Quartet Competition, returns to Music@Menlo for a panorama of string quartet works. The program includes Anton Webern’s emotional Langsamer Satz, written at the twilight of the Romantic age, and Shostakovich’s electrifying ninth quartet.
