Le Due Muse - Russian Romantic

Presented by Old First Concerts

Le Due Muse is a cello and piano duo formed in 2000 by Bay Area cellist Sarah Hong and her longtime duo partner, Japanese pianist Makiko Ooka in 2000. Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, they have performances planned this summer in the United States, Japan, and South Korea.

Their return to the Old First Concert stage, this time performing some of the most romantic and passionate chamber works by Russian composers (Myaskovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Arensky) with guest violinist Fumino Ando, promises to be a memorable summer evening.
