The San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Walter W. Naumburg Foundation presents a concert with the foundation's newest chamber music winners, the Terra String Quartet, as part of the ongoing series "Naumburg at SFCM.”
The quartet won the top prize at the Foundation's 2025 Chamber Music Competition. This free concert will be held Friday, April 3rd at 7:30 p.m. inside the Caroline H. Hume hall, SFCM’s largest concert venue. This performance will feature works by Juri Seo, Alexander Borodin, Franz Schubert, and Felix Mendelssohn. In addition to the Terra String Quartet, the performance will also feature an ensemble of SFCM students.
The Terra Quartet comprises violinists Harriet Langley and Amelia Dietrich, violist Chih-Ta Chen and cellist Audrey Chen. Their winning includes a $15,000 prize, recital at SFCM, Carnegie Hall, and a commissioned work and recording.
