Berkeley Baroque Strings Presents In the Italian Style

Join the Berkeley Baroque Strings for its popular program of concertos featuring members of the orchestra. The concert includes J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto in B-flat Major, BWV 1051 and his Harpsichord Concerto in G Minor, BWV 1058, Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto in B Minor for 4 Violins and his Concerto in G Minor for two cellos, and George Frideric Handel’s Concerto Grosso in G Major, op. 6, no. 1.

 

Under the music direction of Kati Kyme, longtime member of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Cantata Collective, and Voices of Music, the chamber orchestra is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.

 

The concert takes place St. Clement’s Episcopal Church, 2837 Claremont Blvd., Berkeley.
