A Taste of the Festival – Cabrillo Festival 2026 Preview and Benefit
Come join the Cabrillo Festival for a delicious sneak peek at what the Festival has in store for 2026! This in-person event will be held at Bargetto Winery in Soquel, CA at their gorgeous courtyard overlooking the babbling Soquel Creek.
Festival friends Friction Quartet are hailed as a "terribly beautiful" (San Francisco Classical Voice) string quartet modernizing the chamber music experience, akin to the Cabrillo Festival orchestra's own trailblazing spirit. Friction will perform string quartets by Vivian Fung, Clarice Assad, and Philip Glass—all composers on the 2026 summer season. Vivian Fung join us in person, and will preview her upcoming new Festival commission, engaging with the audience in an intimate and insightful Q&A
