Santa Cruz – Handel’s Messiah
Handel’s Messiah comes to Santa Cruz with chorus, orchestra, and soloists Morgan Balfour, Gabriela Estephanie Solís, David Kurtenbach Rivera, and Matthew Peterson, led by Daniel Henriks. Holy Cross Church is a beautiful place to hear this music, from the quiet opening comforts to the joyful Hallelujah Chorus.
At 6:30 pm, tenor and longtime collaborator David Gordon will offer a pre-concert lecture, sharing stories and insights that open the door into the music. After the performance, you are invited to stay for a relaxed reception to celebrate the season in style and mingle with I Cantori orchestra players and singers.
