BIG CHANGE: We are moving to the concert hall at VALLEY CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS (formerly Holy Names University) in the Oakland Hills, just off Highway 13. Come and enjoy comfortable seats, great acoustics, good sight lines, ample restrooms, and lots of free parking!

The first concert of our 2025-26 Season begins with Rossini's OVERTURE to his opera L’ITALIANA IN ALGERI, written when he was just 21! Then Khachaturian's ADAGIO from SPARTACUS, about the love between Spartacus and Phrygia after they escape from the iron clutches of the evil Roman consul Crassus. We end with Franz Schubert's ROSAMUNDE SUITE, originally incidental music for a play and later combined into a beautiful suite of overtures, ballets and entr’actes.

Come at 2:40pm for a pre-concert talk by our Music Director Eric Hansen. Enjoy homemade treats at intermission. Families are welcome and the venue is fully accessible. Advanced tickets are free, but required.
