The San Francisco Electronic Music Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary with a special Gala honoring a quarter century of groundbreaking electronic music, artistic innovation, and community. The evening brings together pioneering artists whose work reflects the festival's longstanding commitment to experimental sound and performance.
The program features electronic music pioneer and "king of sampling" Carl Stone; the boundary-defying sound explorations of Only Now (Kush Arora); Luciano Chessa and Wobbly (Jon Leidecker) performing a live realization of Desert Ambulance by Ramón Sender Barayón; and a radio-inspired, genre-spanning DJ set by Sly Ida.
Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy two signature beverages created exclusively for the occasion: the Circuit Bender cocktail and the non-alcoholic Circuit Breaker.
The 25th Anniversary Gala celebrates the artists, audiences, and collaborators who have shaped SFEMF over the past quarter century while supporting the festival's continued commitment to presenting adventurous electronic music and sound art for years to come.
