Bay Area Youth Orchestra Festival

Presented by San Francisco Symphony

Hosted by the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra at Davies Symphony Hall, the Bay Area Youth Orchestra Festival (BAYOF) showcases some of the region’s most talented youth ensembles. Proceeds from the event benefit charitable organizations that provide support to homeless and underserved youth in each orchestra’s local community.

The concert features performances by each participating orchestra and concludes with a performance by the Festival Orchestra, comprising representatives from all five participating ensembles. The Festival Orchestra is conducted by Maestro David Ramadanoff, music director of the Young People’s Symphony Orchestra and festival director for BAYOF 2026. KPIX television anchor emerita Wendy Tokuda serves as master of ceremonies.
