Colorful Adventures!

Presented by Saratoga Symphony

Enjoy a FREE classical music orchestral concert with exciting rhythms and beautiful melodies!  This program music was composed in the Romantic Music Period.  It includes 4 different compositions, each with dramatic flair, robust rhythms, and sensuous poetic melodies.  The Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto #1 is a special part of this concert and features internationally acclaimed Natalya Lundtvedt as Piano Soloist.  Additional compositions include the Ali Baba Overture by Cherubini, a beautiful piece by Debussy originally written for piano and transcribed for orchestra, and the seldom performed 4 Tone Poems After Bocklin by Max Reger.  Conductor Dr. Jason Klein talks about each music piece for the audience before it is performed.  This adds insight and understanding to the concert.
