McKean plays classical pipe-organ concert Oct. 19 in Healdsburg

Ronald E. McKean, director of music at Mission San Jose, plays a program of organ masterpieces at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19. The concert takes place at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, located at the corner of Matheson and East Streets, one block east of Healdsburg's downtown Plaza. McKean's performance is the second of St. Pauls' "Mostly Third Sunday" concert series, which is now in its fifth season of offering the public an opportunity to hear classical music performed live, for free.

McKean has earned international acclaim for his musicianship, having performed in sacred spaces worldwide. In addition to his work as an organist, he serves as St. Joseph's choirmaster. He is also a noted composer and arranger.

The public is cordially invited to attend. Admission is free. Donations to the church's building maintenance fund will be gratefully accepted.
