Renowned Scottish pianist Steven Osborne comes to the Steinway Society stage with a captivating program that explores the many facets of the waltz, from intimate character pieces to Beethoven’s monumental Diabelli Variations. Celebrated for his insight, integrity, and imaginative programming, Osborne is widely regarded as one of today’s most thoughtful and versatile pianists.
A frequent presence on the world’s leading stages, Osborne has performed at venues including Wigmore Hall, the Vienna Konzerthaus, and Berlin Philharmonie. His extensive discography of over 30 recordings has earned numerous international awards, and in 2022 he was appointed an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) for services to music.
