Experience World-Class Piano Concerts in the Bay Area
Steinway Society – The Bay Area proudly presents its 2026-2027 Concert Season, continuing a rich tradition of showcasing internationally acclaimed pianists of the classical music world. Rising star Angel Stanislav Wang opens Steinway Society-The Bay Area’s 31st season, Sunday, September 27th at the Visual and Performing Arts Center in Cupertino with a program of works ranging from Stravinsky and Debussy to Liszt and Enrique Granados.
Angel Stanislav Wang brings a bold and captivating voice to the Steinway Society stage. Praised for his expressive depth and commanding technique, Wang has stunned the piano world and quickly gained international recognition, earning top prizes at the Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff competitions and becoming one of the youngest finalists in Van Cliburn history. “He sounds like Van Cliburn” – Ben Laude
At just 23, Wang has already appeared at many of the world’s leading venues, including Carnegie Hall and the Musikverein, and continues to build a global following with performances that balance sensitivity and power.
His Cupertino recital showcases a striking range of repertoire—from the romantic intensity of Liszt’s Sonata in B Minor to the color and atmosphere of Debussy’s Estampes and the electrifying brilliance of Stravinsky’s Petrushka.
