May Melange

Presented by Teatro Mistral

Greetings Opera Cocktales Fans, Friends and Family!

The word “melange” comes from the French word 'Mélange', a mixture or blend.
The word is often used to describe the shimmering, variegated colors of a certain type of fabric or yarn.
In our particular musical case, we are using it to describe a performance encompassing various kinds of
voices, vocalism, languages, songs, arias and ensembles with an array of different composers, styles and emotional colors.
Now I ask you, what could be more operatic than that?

This month's performance celebrates a wide-ranging repertoire including Poulenc, Puccini, Offenbach, Vaughan Williams (why YES, a melange!) and includes a piano solo performed by our talented piano collaborator, Dara Phung.

Soooo....Why not JOIN US!....

for an intimate journey of musical tales that shine a faceted light into the beating heart of our oh-so-human human experience!

We promise you a transformative performance worthy of that 2nd (or 3rd) specialty martini!!
Sit back and relax with your favorite taste sensation from the Martuni's cocktail (or mocktail) menu while we SING for you!

Now....I ask you...What could be better than that??!!
