UCBSO Presents: Keiko Abe, Prokofiev, Strauss

Presented by UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra

On Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14, the UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra will present a bright, virtuoso-filled program. The evening opens with Keiko Abe’s Prism Rhapsody, featuring marimba soloist Erin Lin—a sparkling showcase of color, rhythm, and sheer agility. Sergei Prokofiev’s Sinfonia Concertante features cello soloist Sarah Kave, pairing beautiful lyricism with the sweep of a full symphonic backdrop. The concert concludes with Richard Strauss’s Till Eulenspiegel, a quick-witted romp that's brilliantly detailed, mischievous, and full of momentum.
