AUDITIONS!! The San Jose Youth Symphony (SJYS), located in San Jose, California, is one of the oldest and finest youth orchestras on the West Coast of the United States. Founded six decades ago as part of the former San Jose Symphony, the San Jose Youth Symphony has a rich tradition of musical performance and education. Auditions for the upcoming 2019-2020 season will take place in April! All levels of school-age musicians (up to age 21) are welcome to audition and participate in SJYS.

Applications are being accepted for the 2019 California Concerto Weekend, taking place at West Valley College January 17-20, 2019. Please visit www.californiaconcerto.org for full details about the program, the repertoire choices, fees and application requirements. Up to 12 amateur pianists, 25 years of age or older, who do not have a music performance degree, AND a limited number of amateur pianists with music performance degrees will be chosen to participate as performers.
