PART-TIME STAGE MANAGER, VALLEJO SYMPHONY

The position reports to the Symphony President or designee and works in conjunction with the Music Director/Conductor and Board of Directors. The Vallejo Symphony, in its 83rd season, will perform three subscription concerts in Vallejo. There are two rehearsals prior to each concert.
Kitka is accepting audition submissions for new singers with strong, beautiful voices and engaging stage presence. We are looking for women who are adept at singing in both open/chest voice and “pure” (light vibrato) head voice styles. Familiarity with Eastern European singing and language and music-reading ability is preferred. Accurate intonation, rhythmic capability, previous performance experience and strong ensemble singing skills are essential.
Announcing Auditions for WomenSing, both Wednesday, January 12 and Wednesday, January 19 from 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. Exciting plans are in store for this Spring and early Summer concerts. In March we look forward to presenting a performance with an outstanding guest artist and poet in celebration of International Women’s Month. We will then perform a separate full-length concert in June, 2022.

Who Should Sign Up?
Boys ages 5 to 12 with unchanged voices from all cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. Boys up to 8 do not need previous music experience. Boys older than 8 should be able to read basic music and have some musical experience (instrument or singing).
