Lenora Warkentin received an MFA from UCLA where, in addition to winning a number of competitions, she was a Teaching Assistant for Music History classes and the Wind Ensemble. Her students have performed in the San Francisco Youth Orchestra, Young Peoples Symphony Orchestra, Berkeley Youth Orchestra, Young Peoples Chamber Orchestra, the Santa Cruz Jazz Festival, local theater orchestras, and the Junior Bach Festival.
At Susie Fong Music Studio, we believe in tailoring music lessons to suit the interests and talents of each student so that they can achieve their individual musical goals. The studio offers personalized, relationship-based instruction to students ages 5 and up in note-reading, instrument technique, music theory, music history and general musicianship. Lessons encompass all styles of music, including classical, jazz, pop, and includes opportunities to learn to play lead sheets and song-writing.

Gloria Justen is a versatile composer, violinist, and violist known for her dynamic, emotionally-charged performances. Her compositions have been performed by Philadelphia and San Francisco chamber orchestras. Featuring all original music, her first CD of original music, Four-Stringed Voice: music for solo violin was released in 2008, and her second CD, Sonaquifer: Music for Solo Viola, was released in January 2018. Gloria lives in San Francisco and creates work both for traditional concerts and for electronic music settings.
Natascha Bach, private voice instructor, has impacted the lives of children for over 20 years as a choir director, music educator, and private voice teacher. She is passionate about the role music plays in learning and well-being. Utilizing her expertise in vocal pedagogy, her work with vocal students focuses on raising awareness of their physical positioning and how adjustments to each aspect of their body influences vocal results, empowering singers.

Rachel Patrick began her violin studies at the age of three, studying in the pre-college String Academy program at Indiana University. Until the age of 16, she studied at IUSA with world-renowned pedagogue, Mimi Zweig, joining the program's prestigious touring group, the Violin Virtuosi, at the age of eight. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Michigan studying with Stephen Shipps and Yehonatan Berick and completed her graduate work at Indiana University, studying with Alexander Kerr and studying string pedagogy with Mimi Zweig.
Opera Scouts is a teen performing arts ensemble that meets on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 near the SF Opera House for training, master classes, ensemble based projects, merit badge arts projects, rehearsal and performance. We also attend local performances at professional opera, theater, and musical venues around the Bay Area, perform at professional and community events, and travel Nationally and Internationally on arts related excursions. Program runs September through May.
