Members of the Concert Choir must have the basic principles and objectives covered in the earlier choirs. Musical training will proceed at a faster pace and in the more complex context of technically demanding music. The typical age for this choir is ten to fourteen years, with two to four years of musical training. The Concert Choir performs at community events and participates in a four-day tour each spring.
The concert group is a performance-oriented group of about 240 students in four divisions: Concert Choir, Youth Choir, Young Men, and Young Women. Students must be at least in 6th grade and possess music literacy. In addition to yearly concert tours within the United States and abroad, there is mandatory attendance at an annual Music Camp every August. Two rehearsals weekly are required for Concert Choir members.
