Carved into a volcanic knoll behind Clos Pegase Winery, the 20,000-square-foot wine caves are one of the more distinctive underground spaces in Napa Valley. The network of vaulted passages houses as many as 3,000 aging wine barrels, while its centerpiece—the dramatic Cave Theater—opens into a broad, arched chamber designed for private dinners, celebrations, and live performances.
