John King has been teaching music in the Bay Area for over ten years. He has worked at Crowden School, College Preparatory School, and Acme Music, among other institutions. He currently offers private lessons to kids and adults of all ages in piano practice and performance, music theory, and music composition. He holds a B.A. in Music from U.C. Berkeley and an M.A. in Music Composition from the University of Manchester in England. When he's not teaching, John performs locally as well as internationally as a jazz and classical pianist.
