Conductor Riccardo Muti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra reconvene in Berkeley for a program of orchestral gems for one night only. In 2023, Muti stepped down as the esteemed ensemble’s music director to assume the role of Music Director Emeritus for Life, and his close relations with this group of musicians continues. Muti conducts Brahms’ Fourth Symphony; Stravinsky’s suite from the ballet The Fairy’s Kiss; and Ravel’s Boléro.
