Artistic director Paul Flight leads the California Bach Society in a concert of music by the Bach family, from J.S. Bach’s great-uncle Johann Bach to his son Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach. Highlighting the program spanning 100 years of Bach compositions will be J.S. Bach’s beloved 5-part motet Jesu, meine Freude. The 30-voice chorus is accompanied by Farley Pearce, cello; Roy Whelden, violone; and Yuko Tanaka, keyboard.
