The Fillmore Choir and Orchestra presents and all-Beethoven program including the Mass in C, the rarely-performed Fantasy for Piano, Orchestra, and Chorus (Choral Fantasy) in an even more rarely-performed version with a text from 1951 by poet and statesman Johannes Becher of the former East Germany, with local favorite Ronny Michael Greenberg at the piano and highlights from Fidelio, his only opera, an emotional, soaring masterpiece about the transcendent power of love and devotion.
