The World Sinks Except Japan Record Release Party with Thomas Carnacki

The World Sinks Except Japan--percussionist/sound-designer Matt Stines and guitarist Josh Pollock (Gong, John Cale, Acid Mothers Temple, Gary Floyd, Van Dyke Parks)--was created to find the musical intersection point of Miles Davis, The Melvins, and Pink Floyd. This is the Record Release Party for their debut album, "In A Soylent Way", which also features guest marimba player Dennis Young of legendary NYC no-wavers Liquid Liquid, as well as local stalwarts Jeff Hobbs (clarinet, cornet) and Carolyn Davis (alto flute). Joining them will be audio adventurists Thomas Carnacki (featuring Cheryl E. Leonard and Ida Belisle).
