Distinguished guest conductor Dinis Sousa leads an emotionally sweeping program featuring the LA debut of LACO Composer-in-Residence Huang Ruo’s Tipping Point, a powerful reflection on the beauty and fragility of nature.

The extraordinary Isabelle Faust, one of the world’s most celebrated violinists, brings her depth of sound and artistry to one of Schumann’s final works, the Violin Concerto. The evening closes with a portrait of joy and sunlight in Mendelssohn’s radiant Symphony No. 4, the “Italian.”
