In honor of USA's 250th anniversary and February’s Black History month, we are highlighting the string quartet music of citizen Florence Price and immigrant Antonin Dvorak in Buena Vista Winery’s Wine Tool Museum Room. Enjoy an intimate evening of chamber music the way it was meant to be experienced.
Program includes the Florence Price String Quartet No. 2 in A minor (1935) and the Dvorak String Quartet No. 12 in F major Op 96 "The American" (1893, written in Iowa) with musicians Robin Hansen and Ani Bukujian, violin, Elizabeth Prior, viola, and Emileigh Vandiver, cello. The musicians will be introducing the composers’ biographies and American stories. Doors open at 6pm, Show at 7pm. Wine by the glass, by the bottle, and Charcuterie Plates will be available for purchase. Reserved Seats (front three rows) $55, general seats $45. Your name will be on a list at the door.
