Come join the Oakland Civic Orchestra - a recent San Francisco Classical Voice Audience Award winner for Favorite Community Orchestra - for its “A French Connection” concert, conducted by Artistic Director Martha Stoddard and Assistant Conductor Andrew O’Donnell. French repertoire takes center stage with a collection of pieces from the 19th and 20th centuries, including the U.S. premiere of Charlotte Sohy’s Mediations, Op. 18 (featuring soprano Chelsea Hollow), as well as works by Vincent D’Indy, Gabriel Faure, Maurice Ravel, and Claude Debussy.
