A celebration of Venetian music, the centerpiece of this performance is a suite of dance music from Andrè Campra’s ground-breaking 1699 Venetian opera-ballet Le Carnaval de Venise. A soulful concerto by Verona and Bologna-based composer Giuseppe Torelli and a brilliant concerto for strings by Vivaldi rounds out the program.
