
The 3:15 p.m. concert organist Mina Marie Jelinek studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, receiving top honors in organ performance, improvisation, and Gregorian Chant. She won first prize in the Regional Competition for Young Organists and performed at the 2016 National American Guild of Organists Convention. Mina Marie graduated from The Juilliard School and The Eastman School of Music. She has performed at prestigious venues like The Royal Chapel of Versailles and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris. Currently, she is the Director of Music at St Aidan’s Episcopal Church in San Francisco. She will play an all-French program.
The 4:00 p. m. Evensong features choral responses by Cecilia McDowall, the anthem “Come, Thou Holy Paraclete” by David Hurd, and the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in A by Herbert Sumsion.
