We recruit experienced singers from a variety of backgrounds, so whether you're a recent graduate who wants to continue singing or have many years of singing under your belt, we're interested in you!

The California Bach Society specializes in historically informed performances. It has established a reputation for its interpretations of Renaissance and Baroque choral music. A reviewer for San Francisco Classical Voice said in 2013, "In recent years the California Bach Society has become a prospector of Baroque gold.
Marin Baroque Chamber Choir Seeking Singers
Emerging professional chamber choir and period instrument orchestra in Marin County with a primary focus on Baroque music. Singers are expected to have strong choral experience, an understanding of vocal technique, and ability to read music.
Looking for ALTO,TENOR, and BARITONE/BASS voices.
Opportunities are available for soloists.
Rehearsals resume in Sept 2014 with next concert in November 2014.

Auditions for Sacred & Profane, A Chamber Chorus
Sacred & Profane has openings for voices in all sections. If you are an experienced singer with a healthy voice & a great attitude, please audition with us for this extraordinary 2014 season. Auditions to be held ASAP.
Concerts will take place in Berkeley and San Francisco. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings 7:30-10 PM in downtown Oakland.

Sing with the critically acclaimed California Bach Society!
The audition lasts about 20 minutes and will consist of vocalizing, sight reading, and a prepared piece of your choice(accompaniment will be provided). Candidates should be able to sing with a straight tone and be comfortable singing with a small number of voices on a part.
Unaccompanied choral music of all time periods
Perform works by Palestrina, Josquin, Bach, Schütz, Pinkham, and Duruflé while studying all aspects of choral music: vocal technique, ear training, sight singing, theory, and history. Our professional section leaders help you to sing at your very best. Conducted by Sven Edward Olbash, director of Euouae.
