Chora Nova, a spirited and polished chorus, will perform the Poulenc Gloria and Saint-Saëns Requiem on May 25 in Berkeley. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7:15-9:45 at All Souls Episcopal Parish, Cedar and Spruce streets in Berkeley. Rehearsals for this session begin on March 26. Chora Nova, now in its 13th season, is conducted by Artistic Director Paul Flight. There are openings in all sections. Visit our website at choranova.org for more information about the chorus. Join Voices of Silicon Valley for an exciting program!

Voices of Silicon Valley is inviting singers to audition and join us for an exciting concert on Thursday May 30 when we will collaborate with an illustrious composer Pamela Z (Pamelaz.com).

This concert will also feature traditional Renaissance madrigals presented in an unusual way, some film scores, arrangements by Pentatonix and more!

Chora Nova is conducted by Paul Flight, its Artistic Director since its founding in 2006.

The chorus rehearses on Tuesday evenings at All Souls Episcopal Parish in north Berkeley and performs at First Church Berkeley.

Auditions for the Fall semester will be held at the choir's rehearsal location near downtown Palo Alto (600 Homer Ave). Open to 2nd-5th grade boys. High school and middle school boys with choral experience may audition for upper levels. SVB provides a personalized approach to teaching singing, music theory, and sight-reading, while providing flexible scheduling for busy families.

Thursday choir rehearsals from 6:30 until 8:30 pm
Sunday morning rehearsal at 9:00 am followed by the 10:00 am Service Additional services on Christmas Eve & Day, Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week
Pay is $65 per call
Candidate must have strong sight-reading abilities
Also capable of singing solo and small ensemble repertoire
Music degree or equivalent required

Calvary Presbyterian Church, San Francisco, California is seeking a new Tenor Section Leader/Soloist for the 50-voice Chancel Choir starting ASAP. The choir sings a broadly diverse range of music, encompassing the great sacred, classical liturgical repertoire along with jazz, gospel, folk, contemporary and secular arrangements. Calvary is looking for an experienced, adult professional singer who can provide positive leadership for our volunteer choir members as well as dynamic, diverse, engaging solo and ensemble singing. The position is for a full year, including summer.

The Peninsula Women's Chorus (PWC), based in Palo Alto, invites you to join our friendly and talented group of singers, led by Artistic Director Martín Benvenuto. Auditions for all treble voice parts will be held August 9 and August 13 or other dates by appointment. Rehearsals are held Monday evenings in Palo Alto, starting August 20, 2018.
