AUDITIONS ARE HELD at the Lamplighters Rehearsal Hall, 469 Bryant Street (between 2nd and 3rd Streets in the South of Market section of San Francisco).
San Francisco City Chorus is a warm and welcoming community of singers committed to excellence in learning and performing choral masterworks. This fall, we are taking on the challenging but rewarding epic oratorio "Israel in Egypt," by G.F. Handel, which we will perform with a chamber orchestra of musicians from the SF Academy Orchestra. Auditions will be held at our first three rehearsals: August 23, August 30, and September 6. Resound Ensemble is a community of singers sharing intimate, engaging performances with audiences in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are committed to an eclectic repertoire that connects today’s audience to the human experience through song.
Similar to our mission, we aim to recruit singers from a wide variety of backgrounds. Whether you’re a recent college graduate who wants to continue singing, or have many years of singing under your belt, we’re interested in you! Resound Ensemble membership is based solely on the yearly audition.
