Program: Brush Up Your Shakespeare: Four Centuries of Songs and Sonnets

This Fall we celebrate the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death with musical settings of Shakespeare texts by composers contemporary to him all the way to composers writing today. We have openings in all parts. We know Sopranos, Altos, Tenors and Basses will enjoy singing this delightful and varied program.

AUDITIONS ARE HELD AT THE LAMPLIGHTERS REHEARSAL HALL, 469 BRYANT STREET (between 2nd and 3rd Streets in the South of Market area of San Francisco).

Sing a cappella masterworks with Lacuna Arts Chorale

Lacuna Arts is holding auditions for our 11th season. This year's repertoire includes great a cappella choral works like the Howells Requiem, Bach's Jesu meine Freude, madrigals by Monteverdi and Lauridsen, and Distler's The Christmas Story. Individual auditions will be held August 29–September 1 2016 in San Francisco. Any vacancies will be filled during our "community-style" audition at our first rehearsal September 12.
