Our 2013 repertoire includes the Requiem of Gabriel Fauré (with orchestra) as well as part songs by Saint-Saëns, Ravel, Debussy and Hindemith.

You will be asked to sing a prepared piece of any style that shows your vocal ability and musicality (a classical selection is preferred), and also do some vocalizing and sight-reading. The audition lasts 10-12 minutes. An accompanist will be provided.
Our Music Director checks for voice range, blend, sight-reading ability & musicianship. He'll have you vocalize & perhaps sing by yourself after he's played through something with you. You don't have to bring a solo song.

This is a non-auditioned community chorus. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7:15-9:45 at the Arrillaga Recreation Center in Menlo Park.
Please be prepared to sing something from an oratorio, mass or song appropriate for a church service. You will also be asked to sight read an anthem. Please email Craig to make an appointment for an audition.
Resound Ensemble is holding auditions AUG 20-28 for the 2013-2014 season, our 3rd year. Resound rehearses and performs (May & Nov, no holiday concert) in San Francisco. Due to our wide range of styles, we often say we're the ensemble of the shuffle generation!

Bay Area Classical Harmonies (BACH) is pleased to announce our choral singer auditions for the 2013-14 season. We are seeking intermediate to advanced chorus members. Audition Dates: August 6th and August 11th
Auditions include singing a prepared piece and short simple sight-reading. Please bring either a solo vocal work, or an excerpt from a choral work to sing. Baroque repertoire is preferred but other historical eras will be acceptable as well. The choir seeks singers with strong musical skills and the capacity to sing with a minimum of vibrato.
Those auditioning will be asked to vocalize, sing a brief solo of their choosing (aria, art or folk song, show tune, etc.) and sight-read choral selection provided. Auditions are by appointment with Artistic Director, David Morales. Chorale rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons in Oakland, occasionally on Tuesday evenings in Lafayette.
